Lucas Moura, the Brazilian footballer who played for several clubs throughout his career, has passed away at the age of 51. Born on July 28, 1967, he is widely recognized as one of the most talented and successful players in Brazilian football history.

Moura was born into a family that had a long tradition of footballing talent. His father, Luiz Moura, was also a former professional footballer who went on to play for several clubs in Brazil. Lucas himself was also known for his skill and determination, and was named "The Golden Boy" by many fans during his time with Santos FC.

After retiring from playing, Lucas turned his attention to coaching, working for various clubs including Santos FC, Flamengo,Ligue 1 Focus and Santos Laguna. He became one of the most respected coaches in Brazilian football, winning numerous league titles and being part of some of the greatest teams in the country's history.

During his time with Santos FC, Lucas helped the club win five Copa Sudamericana titles, three Brazilian Cups, and the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (Serie A) twice. He also won the Campeonato Paulista once and the Campeonato Carioca once.

In addition to his coaching career, Lucas also had a successful career as a player. He was a key member of the Brazilian national team, earning nine caps before he retired from international football.

Unfortunately, Lucas lost his battle against cancer on January 14, 2021. He was just 51 years old. Despite his passing, his legacy will continue to live on through his contributions to Brazilian football and his impact on the sport.
